Julie Anne Smith, A.K.A. Julianne Moore is an Hollywood writer and actor who's talent has brought her recognition and critical acclaim. Sagittarius. Her birthplace was in North Carolina, on 3rd December 1960. She's one of the three youngest children of Peter Moore Smith and Anne Smith. Peter was a paratrooper. The Moore family has English as well as Scottish ancestry. Her father was a professional who often moved her family. She struggled with making and keeping acquaintances. Moore's family relocated to Germany and she went to Frankfurt American High School, where her first acting opportunities included in the stage. In 1983 she received the BA in Fine Arts from Boston University. When she graduated, Moore moved to New York, where she began her journey in Off-Broadway Theater. Moore, who graduated from the college with honors in New York and started her acting career off Broadway when she moved from New York. In the episode The Edge of Night in 1985, Moore made her first on-screen appearance. She played the roles of Sabrina Hughes and Frannie Hughes in As the World Changes the show that marked her debut. The show lasted from 1986 to 1988. World Turns from 1986 until 1988. For her role she was awarded a Daytime Emmy Award. In 1990 she made her cinematic debut in Tales from the Darkside: The Movie that she later described as a terrible low-budget film. Short Cuts was produced by Robert Altman in 1993 and 3 Women was released in 1997. The latter production, for which she won several awards and critical acclaim. Moore was offered her first lead role on the screen in Safe (1995). Steven Spielberg, who was the director for Jurassic Park: The Lost World in 1997, one of that year's biggest grossing films, had Moore cast as the lead actress. The film she starred in was Magnolia (1999), which was praised by critics and earned an SAG nomination for her performance. In 2002 she co-starred in The Hours which got nominated for nine Academy Awards with Nicole Kidman and Meryl Streep. Moore was also featured in The Forgotten 2004, Freedomland, Shelter and Shelter 2010. In 2014, she starred in Non-Stop. Moore has appeared in numerous movies and television shows. Her most recent prominent roles was In 2022: When You Finish Securing the World. In Hollywood, she has also become a published author for children. She published her first book in 2007 Freckleface Strawberry, which became the New York Times bestseller. The bestseller was later made into a movie, series and even a musical. The author also released My Mom's Foreigner, the memoir of 2013. Moore's private life was disclosed as she's a popular author and actress. She was married to John Robin from 1984 until 1995. Bart Freundlich and Moore had two kids together. Moore is someone who takes pride in her work and family.
